The teacher-student ratio for the 1997-1998 school year is 1:15. Eighty-two percent (82%) of the faculty hold a master's degree while sixty-three percent (63%) have completed at least 15 or more credit-hours of work beyond the master's degree. Guidance services offer the assistance of one supervisor, two counselors and one school psychologist.

Special Education services are provided to the district by Northeast Educational Intermediate Unit #19.

The teachers and other non-administrative faculty are represented by the Riverside Education Association which is an affiliate of the Pennsylvania State Education Association.
