Summer Reading

  • Summer Reading!

"There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate's loot on Treasure Island." — Walt Disney

    Why is Summer Reading Important?
-Students who do not read over the summer lose two to three months of reading development.
-"Just like hockey players lose some of their skills if they stay off the ice for three months, children who do not read in the summer lose two to three months of learning development." - Richard Allington
