Mrs. Lindsay's Welcome Page
4th Grade Math Classroom Website
March 2020 - Response to COVID19
Hello to all my wonderful students and parents! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy, enjoying the time spent with your families, and not driving your parents and guardians crazy! Haha I miss you all a ton, and I can't wait to get back to normal and see all your smiling faces! This has sure been a wild ride, but it has also been amazing to see the power of community and how we all come together through difficult times. Hang in there! Miss you all, and cannot wait for our reunion!
Due to our current situation, we will be moving to remote learning, which just means that I will be providing you materials on this website that you can work on at home! These activities will be reviewing many of the important concepts we have covered so far this year, as well as challenging and enriching your brains! On the left hand navigation bar, click on your math section to find your assignments. (*Note - Math Section Links will be available on Sunday afternoon, March 29). There will be lots of assignments and activities provided for you to choose from each day of the week.
If at any time you have questions, concerns, need assistance, or just want to say hi, email me (email@example.com) or have your parents/guardians send me a text on Remind (if you would like to join my class Remind, please click Contact Me on the left hand navigation for instructions to join). I will be available anytime and will get back to you as soon as possible.
I encourage you to try out all any/all the activities I will have listed. Have fun with them!
*As a reminder, none of the posted assignments are mandatory or graded.
**Kami - to download the new app, click this link https://www.kamiapp.com/
In order for this to be effective, you should save each downloaded assignment in a folder that is easily accessible. On the Kami page, click Get Started and create an account. Once your account is created, click Open from Classroom. This will take you to the documents saved onto your computer. Find the folder where the assignments are saved, and click to open the assignment you want to work on. The assignment will open with all the Kami tools available. Write, draw, make equations, add pictures, etc to complete the assignment right on your computer!
