Our school uses a behavior program called School- Wide Positive Behavior System. Each child has a clip that starts on green. If they choose to break the rules, there are consequences, both in the classroom and at the office. If they choose to make good choices, they can work their way up to Role Model status, which can earn them Student of the Month award.

Rules:

1. Treat everyone with respect.
2. Keep hands and feet to yourself.
3. Listen carefully and follow directions the first time they are given.
4. Always try your best.
5. Always be prepared for class and ready to learn.
6. I will not interfere with the teacher teaching and others learning.

Consequences:

1st- verbal warning

2nd- Written redirect

3rd- Recess detention or office reflection

4th- phone call home

5th- office referral 

Rewards

Quietest Group award- Anytime students are working in pairs or a small group, they can earn a lollipop or Starburst for working quietly, kindly, and effeciently

   Basketball Hoop- Every Friday, all students that have remained on the green  Ready to Learn spot for the week and did not have their clip moved get 1 chance to make a shot in the basketball hoop. The winner gets thier name on our Basketball Winner Chart (for an end of year playoff) and a lollipop .
