Mr. Pabst's Web Page - Thank You for Visiting

  •      Vikings Geometry Page!!

    NOTE TO PARENTS:

The Geometry class is run in a large part using a FLIPPED CLASSROOM. This means, your son/daughter will be assigned videos to be watched for homework (to introduce each topic) and we will expand on those ideas in class the following day(s). What you would know as HOMEWORK (worksheets that each student is expected to complete on their own) will be completed in the classroom, so that students that have questions may ask me for help, rather than asking you (as most of you haven't had Geometry for quite some time!) Since class time will be provided for students to complete these assignments, I expect support from home that they will at least attempt to complete the problems here in the class (many students wish to "wait until I get home to do it"). Each student's first assignment is to (1) read, (2) sign by completing the STUDENT GOOGLE FORM, and (3) get a parent's signature by having them complete the PARENT GOOGLE FORM on my CLASS POLICY, PROCEDURE, & EXPECTATION document so that everyone has knowledge of the class rules.

Students use Google Classroom on a daily basis to receive and submit assignments... Students should JOIN their Google Classroom by using the code provided in class.

Almost any question regarding class materials can be answered by having your son or daughter open their Google classroom account and read under either the Announcements tab or Classwork tab.

    Mr. Pabst

P.S. Here are some questions I have:

Why do people pay to go up to the top of tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?

Do Chinese people get English sayings tattooed on their bodies?

Why do they call the small candy bars the "fun sizes"? Isn't it more fun to eat a big candy bar?

Since there is a rule that states "i" before "e" except after "c", isn't "science" spelled wrong?
