Hello, my name is Mrs. Tallo. I will be your child's fifth grade science teacher for the year. I am so eager to get started! This year your child will be learning about the sun, planetary systems, heating Earth, Earth's atmosphere, water planet, Earth's changing surface, Earth's structure, ecosystems, and using resources wisely. We will be conducting in-class investigations, sense-making discussions, and answering focus questions. A quarterly project will be assigned for students to apply the knowledge gained from the instruction. I am excited to see how much your child will grow cognitively, physically, socially, and emotionally. Together, we can make this a rewarding, memorable year for your child.
