Hi!  I am excited to have you in my class this year!  I have been a teacher at Riverside for several years.  I taught Kindergarten for many years before coming over to Riverside Elementary East to teach ELA Skills.  I love to read and write short stories and poetry and I am excited about teaching you grammar and writing this school year.  I feel that everyone has a story to tell (and write) and I can't wait to accompany you on your writing journey and have many adventures.  When I am not at school teaching, I love spending time with my 5 daughters.  We like to travel and hike together.  I also love to draw, garden, and spend lazy days napping with my cat Maximus.  I love listening to music and reading books.  My perfect day consists of visiting a museum and looking at art and artifacts.  I love learning about new things and I challenge myself to learn one new thing each day.  I can't wait to learn all about you!!!
